As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support within a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site leadership and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, movement areas, and/or restricted locations while verifying credentials, observing for unusual behavior, and reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
• Support intake, escort, and/or transport-related activities when assigned, following post orders and use of force guidelines while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
