Project Manager II

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead the planning and delivery of moderately complex projects from initiation through completion. In this role, you will define project scope, objectives, schedules, milestones, budgets, and success measures while ensuring alignment with business priorities. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, clarify responsibilities, manage dependencies, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality, value, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project plans, tracking progress against approved schedules and budgets, identifying risks and issues, and implementing effective mitigation and escalation strategies. You will facilitate project meetings, prepare status reports and presentations, maintain accurate documentation, and provide regular updates on performance, decisions, and changes. The role will also involve managing project changes through appropriate governance processes, supporting resource planning, coordinating vendor or partner activities where required, and ensuring deliverables meet agreed standards. You will promote consistent project management practices and contribute to process improvements, lessons learned, and the development of effective tools and templates.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing projects, with a record of delivering work across multiple teams or functions. A bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, along with relevant project management certification or equivalent practical experience. Strong organisational, analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. You should be confident using project planning, collaboration, reporting, and budget-tracking tools, and be able to translate complex information into clear recommendations for varied audiences. The ability to build productive relationships, influence without direct authority, manage competing demands, and work independently while exercising sound judgement is required.
