Role SummaryThe Product Manager is accountable for ensuring that the product team solves meaningful customer problems in ways that deliver measurable business value. Rather than acting primarily as a project coordinator, requirements writer, or backlog administrator, the Product Manager leads through customer insight, product strategy, evidence-based decision-making, and close collaboration with design, engineering, data, operations, and business partners.The Product Manager works as part of a durable, cross-functional product team that is given important problems to solve - not predetermined features to deliver. responsible governance.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.Five or more years of product management, digital product, technology product, or comparable experience.Demonstrated experience owning a technology-enabled product or significant product area through discovery, delivery, launch, measurement, and optimization.Experience working with cross-functional partners such as engineering, design, data, architecture, operations, marketing, service, legal, compliance, or finance.Demonstrated ability to identify customer problems and convert insights into product strategy and measurable outcomes.Experience using qualitative research and quantitative data to make decisions.Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and structured problem-solving capabilities.Ability to navigate ambiguity, reconcile competing needs, and make sound decisions with incomplete information.Strong written, verbal, facilitation, presentation, and executive communication skills.Working knowledge of modern software development, Agile delivery, product analytics, experimentation, and product discovery practices.Demonstrated ability to influence across organizational boundaries without relying solely on positional authority.Preferred QualificationsExperience working within a regulated, complex, or highly matrixed enterprise environment.Experience with empowered product teams, continuous discovery, dual-track product development, or outcome-based roadmaps.Familiarity with product discovery techniques such as customer interviewing, prototyping, usability testing, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and opportunity-solution mapping.Experience defining product objectives, key results, guardrail metrics, and product performance dashboards.Understanding of software architecture, APIs, data platforms, cloud technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, or other relevant emerging technologies.Agile or product management certification is helpful but is not a substitute for demonstrated product judgment and results.Experience with product and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, product analytics platforms, research repositories, or visual collaboration tools.Familiarity with generative AI, machine learning product patterns, AI evaluation, responsible AI practices, model or data risk, and
