Claims Administrator - (General Liability & Workers Compensation) Fort Worth, TX NOTE: WE ARE SEEKING SOMEONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH GENERAL LIABILITY AND WORKERS COMPENSATION EXPERIENCE! Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The Claims Administrator controls, tracks, and manages all internal and external claims regarding the field operations of the company, including but not limited to; workers' compensation, general liability, completed operations, and motor vehicles. This person will investigate, evaluate, and settle claims, ensuring prompt handling of cases while providing a reduced loss ratio. The Claims Administrator will need to be extremely detail-oriented, able to work with internal and external clients professionally, and enjoy a fast-paced environment that requires organization in their day-to-day business. Roles and Responsibilities: Reviews claim notices and scope of work to determine risk and liability Communicates with insurance companies, healthcare providers and third-party claim administrators (TPA) in order to achieve prompt and reasonable resolutions, and claim closure Works to reduce employee lost time due to occupational injury or illness and avoid fraudulent workers' compensation claims, and schedule appropriate work for employees on restricted duty Works closely with employees to gather information and assist with case processing Attends depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as required Manages claim files to meet company and insurance standards Provides timely and accurate reports on claim to the Director of SQT Develops and provides employee training on compliance safety topics, policies, or procedures Other duties as assigned Success Factors: High levels of Customer Services with Internal and External Customers Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet strict deadlines Strong Organizational Skills Data Entry experience would be helpful as accuracy is quite important to be successful for this role Willingness and ability to learn additional skills Excellent communication skills both written and oral Detailed in your work, and claims research Ability to be flexible to fast-paced changing business needs Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on risk management, business, or a related field Two to Three (2-3) years in a similar or direct field as a Claims Administrator Construction/Utility industry claims experience preferred Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
