Lube Technician-Charter Bus Maintenance

Job Description

Job Description

Are you mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to build hands-on skills in a shop environment? Arrow Stage Lines is looking for a motivated Lube Technician to help keep our charter buses safe, clean, and road-ready. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing things right, and can stay productive without needing to be micromanaged.

No previous bus or diesel experience is required. If you have a strong work ethic, a mechanical mindset, and a willingness to learn, we want to talk with you.

Arrow Stage Lines is an elite transportation provider and one of the largest privately owned motorcoach companies in the nation. We are committed to safety, service, and taking care of the people who keep our buses moving.

• Perform scheduled maintenance on charter buses, including oil changes, lubrication, fluid checks, filters, batteries, tires, and other routine service items.
• Help monitor preventative maintenance schedules so buses are ready when needed.
• Inspect key safety items such as brakes, steering components, wheel bearings, guards, bolts, and other visible parts.
• Use hand tools, shop equipment, and basic technology to complete maintenance tasks and document work.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with washing and cleaning coaches when needed.
• Communicate with drivers and team members in a professional, helpful way.
• Follow company safety procedures and DOT, EPA, and OSHA expectations.
• Help monitor parts and supplies and let management know when items need to be replenished.
• Pitch in with other duties as needed to support the maintenance team.

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning how equipment works.
• Motivated, dependable, and able to stay on task without constant supervision.
• Detail oriented, organized, and willing to follow established processes.
• Comfortable using basic technology or learning maintenance software.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, background check, and back screening.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Brake and AC certifications are a plus but not required.

Our buses carry people to weddings, school trips, sporting events, military movements, corporate events, and once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences. As a Lube Technician, your work helps make sure each coach leaves the shop safe, reliable, ready for the road and keeps our buses on time.

• Paid time off so you can recharge and take care of life outside of work.
• 9 paid holidays each year.
• 401(k) with company match to help you plan for the future.
• Company-subsidized health and dental insurance.
• Generous tool reimbursement policy to help support the equipment you need to do the job well.
• Boot allowance.

If you’re ready to learn, work hard, and be part of a team that keeps professional charter buses moving, apply today. We’re willing to train the right person.
