CDL Driver

Job TitlePRIMARY FUNCTION:Must have experience driving trucks, passenger buses and dumb trucks.TYPICAL DUTIES:Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its Core ValuesRepresent the Company at all times with high moral standards, while adhering to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and EthicsTo work well with supervision.A CDL bus driver's main duty is to safely transport passengers using a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsementsFollowing strict safety regulationsMaintaining the vehicle and equipment in good conditions and clean.Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, obeying traffic laws, assisting passengers, adhering to schedules, keeping the bus clean, and communicating effectively with passengers and dispatchers.Use equipment to remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks.Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.PHYSICAL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work from elevated or uneven surfaces.Work involves standing and walking for extended periods of time.Ability to work in Confined Spaces.Work may include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment and/or trailers.Work may include occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing a minimum of 35 pounds to a maximum of 100 pounds, with assistance, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools.Requires visual ability sufficient to perform job duties. Work normally requires eye-hand coordination.Travel and overtime may be required.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving on roads, and plants. Must be able to pass equipment/trucks/buses test and visual observation of operating equipment. Complete the Matrix Service Safety training, and Client/Site specific training.
