Licensed Journeyman Electricians – Data Center Project

$50/hr • $178/day Per Diem • 60+ Hours Weekly • 3‑Year Project

*Position Overview

We are hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long‑term (3‑year) data center construction project. This role offers steady overtime, high weekly earnings, paid travel, and daily per diem. Ideal for electricians seeking consistent work on a major commercial build.

*Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $50/hour

• Hours: 5 days/week, 12‑hour shifts

• Weekly Total: 60+ hours (guaranteed overtime)

• Per Diem: $178/day

• Travel & Lodging: Provided

*Key Responsibilities

• Install and bend conduit (EMT and rigid)
• Pull wire and complete terminations
• Install lighting systems, switchgear, panels, and cabling
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Work with low‑ and medium‑voltage systems
• Support large‑scale commercial and industrial construction projects

*Qualifications

• Journeyman‑level experience in commercial or industrial electrical work

• Skilled in:

– Conduit bending (EMT & rigid)

– Terminations and panel work

– Electrical system installation

– Blueprint and schematic reading

– Troubleshooting electrical systems

• Experience on large projects (data centers preferred but not required)

*License Requirements

A valid Journeyman Electrician License is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
