Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

School Psychologist – 2026–2027 School Year

Location: Colonial School District, New Castle, DE 19720
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
School Year: 2026–2027
Pay: $40–$55/hour (based on experience)

About the Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join Colonial School District for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with a high school caseload while collaborating with an experienced team of School Psychologists in a supportive and welcoming district. The district has multiple School Psychologists on staff who enjoy working there, creating a collaborative environment where clinicians can thrive. A hybrid schedule may be considered for the right candidate, though onsite services are preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports.
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers, families, and school staff.
Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional success.
Collaborate with school personnel to develop and implement effective interventions.
Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Active Delaware School Psychologist certification/licensure (or ability to obtain prior to the start date).
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Previous school-based experience preferred.
