Make a Difference Through Healing and CultureDoya Natsu Healing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality behavioral health services while honoring culturally grounded approaches to healing within Native communities.Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and Program Director, the Mental Health Therapist provides a full continuum of behavioral health services, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing care for individuals and families. This position plays a key role in supporting recovery through evidence-based practices, family programming, and culturally relevant care models.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive services including:Clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluationsIndividual, group, and family therapyIntervention and follow-up careReferrals to residential treatment programsDevelop individualized treatment and aftercare plansFacilitate client case coordination and multidisciplinary careMaintain accurate, timely documentation using the AccuCare systemCollaborate with internal teams and external agencies to support client outcomesLead and develop family programming for youth and familiesRespond to crisis situations using established safety protocolsMaintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with NAADAC and applicable licensure codesRequired QualificationsCurrent Wyoming licensure or equivalent in one of the following:LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAT/LPC (dual licensure), or PsychologistKnowledge of:DSM-5 and ICD-10 diagnostic criteriaASAM placement criteriaEvidence-based mental health and substance use treatment modelsCo-occurring disorders and family therapy approaches12-step philosophy and other therapeutic modalitiesUnderstanding of culturally responsive care, including Native American healing practices such as the Red RoadExperience working with diverse populations, including youth and familiesStrong group facilitation and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of HIPAA and client confidentiality regulationsAbility to provide services via telehealthProficiency with computers and electronic health recordsAdditional RequirementsValid driver's license with a good driving recordNo felony or DUI convictions within the past 3 yearsAbility to pass a background checkFirst Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Commitment to a recovery-oriented lifestyle (abstaining from alcohol and drug use while employed)What We OfferOpportunity to serve and support the community through meaningful workCollaborative, multidisciplinary team environmentIntegration of cultural values and traditional healing practicesOpportunities for professional growth and continued educationAPPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:Submit a completed application with supporting documents via the online portal.For more information contact Kellie Webb, Executive Director, via email at View email address on ziprecruiter.com will be given to qualified Eastern Shoshone tribal members, then other qualified federally recognized Indian tribal members and then other qualified candidates.Applicants must submit a copy of Tribal Enrollment card or CIB for Indian Preference.Veterans who meet the minimum qualifications and provide documentation of an honorable discharge (DD214) from any branch of military service are entitled to receive preference points during the interview process.Any offer of employment is contingent upon a negative drug test, reference checks and background check.
