Our organization is in search of a dedicated and skilled Psychiatrist to become part of our expanding team at the Warner Robins facility. This full-time position provides an opportunity to deliver outstanding psychiatric care to a varied patient demographic in both inpatient and outpatient environments. The perfect candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills, a dedication to evidence-based practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver psychiatric services for a 17-bed inpatient behavioral health unit within a 237-bed hospital.
• Assess and treat adult patients facing a range of psychiatric issues, including ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and other behavioral health challenges.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication in a well-established outpatient clinic.
• Work alongside a committed Mobile Assessment Team responsible for initial psychiatric evaluations and planning for patient disposition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to assess and address behavioral health issues in hospitalized patients.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree is required.
• A valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Georgia is essential.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified status is preferred.
• A valid DEA certificate without restrictions is necessary.
• Experience in outpatient medical practice is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
• Proficiency in computer usage is required.
