Attorney - Senior Associate/Counsel, Defense Litigation

Goldberg Segalla is a national civil litigation law firm that represents major national and regional companies and insurance carriers in all aspects of business counseling, risk assessment and dispute resolution including representation in various types of claims, controversies and litigation involving personal and other injuries, property damage, contract disputes and business torts. Goldberg Segalla offers experienced California defense litigators the flexibility to work in the environment that suits them best, from anywhere while maintaining access to one of our Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Francisco offices as needed.
This position represents a strategic expansion of our team driven by strong client demand, not a backfill.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome Senior Associate and Counsel-level attorneys with 4+ years of defense litigation experience who are ready to independently manage cases and help drive litigation strategy.
Qualified candidates must be licensed in California and have experience taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing disposition motions, and preparing cases for arbitrations, mediations, and trial.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and confident advocate who can independently manage a litigation caseload with minimal supervision. Experience representing companies and insurers in a defense-side practice is strongly preferred.
Experience in general liability, retail liability, transportation defense, and/or product liability is a plus.

THE BENEFITS

The annualized salary range for this position is $105,000-$165,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses, and a full benefits package.
