Fuel And Lubricants PositionThis position is responsible for providing fuel and lubricants to customers via dock or truck rack.Essential Duties & Job FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Provides customer service to include truck rack and dock fueling operations and sale of packaged lubricants.Performs daily facility and equipment inspections, opens and closes tank valves, performs general maintenance. Stocks and transfers lubricantsAssists w/ bulk fuel transfer operations. Performs Fuel Quality Control functions.Assists with performing facility oil spill response drills and Work flexible schedule to include weekends and nights as needed.Clean as needed to maintain a professional appearance at the facility.Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills and property damage. Identifies and communicates job hazards.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business procedures and governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.An individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word and MAS Accounting Software.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
