What You'll Do

As a Service Foreman, you'll play a critical role in the daily operation of our service department by leading technicians, coordinating workflow, and ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and prioritize repair orders for technicians
• Monitor shop workflow to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
• Assist technicians with diagnostics and complex repairs
• Communicate repair status, delays, and additional  service needs to Service Advisors
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and reduce repeat repairs
• Coach, mentor, and develop technicians and shop personnel
• Support technician training and professional  development programs
• Maintain shop equipment, tools, and supply inventory
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, company  policies, and maintenance schedules
• Stay current on industry technology, repair procedures, and best practices
• Assist with service writing and warranty  administration as needed
• Partner with the Service Manager to build a high-performing team

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Previous Heavy-Duty Truck, Diesel, or Bus Repair experience
• Leadership, Foreman, Shop Lead, or Senior Technician experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Experience with repair order management software
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Experience leading and coaching technicians
• Knowledge of Kenworth, PACCAR, Cummins, or other major diesel platforms

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shop environment
• Ability to occasionally lift and move tools, equipment, and parts
• Good visual acuity for inspections and quality control  
• Ability to work in a repair facility with varying noise levels and conditions
