Warehouse Laborer - Evening Shift

Pay: $20.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Evening Shift (40 Hours per Week)
Location: Local candidates preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and shipment of food products within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight manually.
• Stack and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Assemble merchandise and prepare products for distribution.
• Inspect freight for accuracy, damage, and potential contamination or infestation.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with warehouse security procedures and standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and physical inventories as needed.
• Ensure accurate time allocation for customer-related activities.
• Report workplace hazards and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Follow company attendance policies and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and warehouse safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, early mornings, and occasional overtime as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and team members.
• Ability to receive feedback professionally and maintain positive working relationships.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently sit, hear, speak, and use hands to handle materials and equipment.
• Ability to use close vision and operate controls as required.
• Occasionally stand, kneel, crouch, and use distance vision.
• Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 80 pounds .
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening .
• Only qualified local candidates with relevant warehouse experience will be considered.
