Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required. License: Must possess a valid nursing license. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required. CPI and TNCC preferred. Must-Have: - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4. - Ability to perform and manage a wide range of emergency procedures. - Experience with charting in an electronic health record system. Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. The nurse will be responsible for providing critical care in a fast-paced environment. Ratios will be maintained at 1:4 to ensure quality care for all patients. Saturday and Sunday shifts will be required every third weekend. Candidates must possess current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications. CPI and TNCC certifications are preferred. The nurse will be responsible for performing a variety of emergency procedures and managing a diverse patient population. Experience with a wide range of medical conditions and emergencies is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of charting in EPIC is required. Flexibility and adaptability are important as the nurse may need to float within departments as needed. Candidates must be willing to comply with all regulatory and facility requirements.
