It is the foundation of The Memorial Experience.Summary:The Chief Financial Officer oversees Memorial Hospital Miramar's financial planning, budgeting, and ongoing adherence to budget, as well as policies and practices in collaboration with executive leadership.Responsibilities:Serves as liaison for financial matters between the hospital and executive leadership, management, financial institutions and regulatory agencies.Serves as a member of the leadership team and participates in development of the organization's vision, policies and short/long-term objectives.Directs/manages the hospital's financial, accounting, budgeting, audit/controls/standards/activities and statistical reporting.Recommends current financial and industry trends for cost effective and efficient solutions.Competencies:Education and Certification Requirements:Masters (Required)AHCA Background Screening (AHCA) - State of Florida (FL)Additional Job Information:Complexity of Work: Deep understanding of hospital finance, healthcare reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.Required Work Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive financial leadership experience.
