General Function The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer receives the best experience at every LensCrafters location. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community. Major Duties & Responsibilities Consistently deliver on the sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frame choices with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the optician as needed. Actively participate and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff. Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring displays and inventory remain clean, attractive and organized. Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service. Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems, computers, calculators and basic phone and math skills. Embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy. Ability to sell using strong sales skills and accountability for results, with a desire to meet goals. Strong communication skills (both oral and written). Self‑motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi‑task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment. Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $16.83 – $23.55 per hour. Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. Additional compensation may include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, complementing a first‑class total rewards package.
