Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2508.60 Opportunity: CT Tech SMMC CT SCAN Job Details: • Must be open to all shift times - specific shift requests cannot be accommodated • Start times are 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM • Self-schedule based on seniority • Patient ratio is 1:1 • No on-call required • No floating between units • Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend to meet unit need • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day • Facility may call off once every two-week pay period • Minimum 1 year of experience required • Community hospital experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT (ARRT CT or ARRT R accepted) • Charting system: Epic • Scrub color: Navy Blue • Free parking available • Skills required include: abdomen with/without contrast, chest with/without contrast, head with/without contrast, pelvis with/without contrast, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, emergency department, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and preparation and administration of contrast media • Equipment used includes: 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 64-slice GE Lightspeed • Very busy department serving mostly ED patients with some outpatients • High-volume primary stroke receiving center • Transport support is available, but technologists are encouraged to assist when needed • Patients include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics • RTO must be included at the time of submission - post-submittal RTO may not be considered or granted • 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years Facility: This acute care hospital operates with 212 staffed beds and provides a wide range of medical services to the surrounding community. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a high-volume emergency department that serves as a primary stroke receiving center. The department is equipped with advanced CT imaging technology and offers transport support to ensure efficient patient care across multiple age groups.
