Now, let's talk about YOU and why you'll love this role: Hours: This position swill be part-time (16-20 hours/week) What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers) Deliver Compassionate, Clinical Care:- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety.
- Support CNAs and other direct care staff to ensure consistent, quality care.
- Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols at all times.
- Promote dignity, comfort, and respect in all resident interactions.
- Respond promptly to call lights and urgent care needs with a calm and professional presence.
- Mentor new staff and share knowledge with team members.
- Collaborate with families and other departments to meet holistic care goals.
- Represent the nursing team positively in community events and care conferences.
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of employment required.
- CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.
- Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a full shift.
