  • Conduct in-depth reviews of product build documentation for configuration audits to confirm that as-built configurations match as-designed requirements.
  • Act as a safety representative during critical and hazardous operations, promoting safe work practices.
  • Assist in developing training materials for the quality assurance group to standardize and improve inspection practices.
  • Develop training material for assigned QA groups and contribute to continuous improvement of training content.

  • Hands-on experience with quality inspection processes in aerospace or similar high-reliability environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management system requirements.
  • Ability to perform in-process and final inspections in accordance with NASA 8739 or IPC workmanship standards.
  • Experience conducting final inspection and final assembly verification.
  • Proficiency using precision measurement tools such as micrometers.
  • Ability to generate and manage nonconformance reports and accurately document defects.
  • Competence in performing audits to verify compliance with documented procedures and lean principles.
  • Ability to use Microsoft applications and learn new computer programs and applications quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Experience participating in or supporting review boards such as PMRB, MRB, or FRB.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback on nonconformance coding, defect descriptions, and quality documentation.
  • Experience developing training materials for quality assurance teams.
  • Experience training and mentoring new or less-experienced quality personnel.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, including acting as a safety representative during critical or hazardous operations.
