As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 08:30 AM - 08:30 PM Sun: 08:30 AM - 08:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access control concerns or unusual conditions to site leadership. Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
