Delivery Specialist – Columbus, OH, US This full‑time, on‑site position offers competitive hourly wages and opportunities for career advancement. Compensation Pay Range: $11.00 – $17.00 per hour, plus additional compensation and premiums as applicable. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete pre‑op inspections before operating. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips. Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management promptly. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of each day. Clock in and out in accordance with company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and managing stock orders. Assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business demands it. SKILLS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18-point standard. Legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements. Familiarity with automotive parts (desired). Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired). Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish (highly desired). Bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
