Job Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Every other weekend required, with an expectation of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 3-4 weeks per compliance tier, with biweekly start dates. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week for 3-12s.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• High risk telemetry experience required, including cardiac drip management, sheath pulls, and central line management.
• Charting experience with EPIC is required.
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs across all inpatient units.
• Locals are not accepted (maximum 75-mile radius).
• No pending licenses accepted.
• RTO restrictions: No greater than 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
• Assist with procedures and provide education to patients and families.
• Document patient progress and changes in condition accurately.
