With a wide array of brands in exciting locations, HRI Hospitality is the destination to set course for growing your career!The Banquet Server is responsible for providing outstanding guest service by ensuring high quality of food delivery and guest experience.Job Duties:Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work.Assist with setting banquet tables to meet function specifications.Deliver and serve food and beverages, including plated meals condiments and accompaniments.Be familiar with menu offerings in order to accurately provide information related to its ingredients and preparations.Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service and respond to all requests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area.Assist team members when needed to accomplish all assigned tasks each day and maintain positive working relationships.Assist with side work including cleaning, replenishing condiments and restocking banquet shelves with supplies.Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Supervisor/Manager.Maintain control of keys issued and return them at the end of each shift.Attend all mandatory Department and Hotel meetings.Complete all required training within timeframe allotted.Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures as required.Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.Support environmental commitments by acquiring the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of "greening" the hospitality industry.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 18 years of ageHigh school graduate or equivalentMust meet grooming standardsAble to work as part of a teamAble to work with little or no supervisionPrevious hotel/resort experience (preferred)Able to prioritize, organize and follow-upStrong attention to detail and able to make concise decisionsAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAble to demonstrate high energy, and strong enthusiasm for customer serviceAble to work on your feet for extended periods of timeAble to lift and carry up to 25 poundsWillingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysHRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
