Certified Surgical Technologist

Shift: Days/Evenings | 10-Hour Shifts | Start Times: 6:30 AM or 12:30 PM

Schedule: 10-hour shifts | Day and Evening
Work Setting: Pediatric Surgical Services / Operating Room
Required Experience: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Preferred Experience: Prior Pediatrics experience; prior Surgical Technologist experience with Spine and Complex Orthopedic surgical procedures.
Required Skills: Surgical Patient Care, Surgical Procedure Support, Interpersonal Communication, Patient Transport, Pediatric Care Support.
Preferred Skills: Pediatrics, Spine Surgery, Complex Orthopedic Surgery.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School for Surgical Technologies.
Required Certifications/Licenses: Surgical Technologist Certification; AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Notes: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, participates in the delivery of patient care and ensures safe patient care during surgical procedures through appropriate planning and implementation. Must be physically able to transport patients and have strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and staff. Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities is preferred. Pay Rate: $50/hr.
