Metal Fabricator

Job Summary


We are seeking a dependable and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and fabricating metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and job specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working with a variety of fabrication tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work orders.
• Measure, cut, bend, shape, and assemble metal components.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, drills, shears, presses, and cutting equipment.
• Perform welding and tack welding as required for assigned projects.
• Use measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Grind, clean, and finish fabricated metal components.
• Set up and adjust fabrication equipment for different jobs.
• Identify defects or problems with materials and finished products.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with material handling and other production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication, welding, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong knowledge of measurements and basic shop math.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and ability to meet production deadlines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds .
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to safely work around machinery, metal materials, sparks, and noise.

Schedule


Full-Time
Monday-Friday
Overtime may be required depending on production needs.

Preferred Experience

• Metal Fabrication: 1+ year
• Blueprint Reading: 1+ year
• Welding: 1+ year preferred
• Manufacturing/Industrial Environment: 1+ year
