Payrate: $41.00 - $42.00/hr. Summary: Support buyer workload functions within the team, including issuing and tracking RFQs, quote analysis, negotiation support, cost/quality/delivery metrics tracking, leading metrics improvement projects, and managing supplier transaction disputes. This procurement team supports a product team with many new product introduction projects ongoing. There are many interactions with a broad spectrum of job functions (e.g., Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Resources) and leadership levels. Responsibilities Support a more senior buyer with various project workload activities and deliverables. Lead individual projects as the role evolves and experience is gained. Engage in traditional office environment interactions, from informal conversations to formal presentations. Collaborate with a team of ~10-12 buyers and supplier development engineers, and interact with a broader procurement, engineering, and supply chain team locally and globally. Qualifications 10 years of experience in relevant fields. Bachelor's degree, or an associate's degree with 12 years of experience, or a master's degree with 8 years of experience. Comparable roles include supply chain analyst or purchasing analyst. Skills Data Analytics & Business Acumen Fact-based Negotiation Project Execution Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Interpersonal relationship management skills - Ability to work well with others. Pay Transparency The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $41.00 - $42.00/hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
