The Medical receptionist we are looking for must have: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a MEDICAL FRONT DESK setting; a must. Experience with Electronic Health (Medical) Records is highly desired. 1+ years of coding and medical billing experience is a plus. Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening, Criminal History Check, and Professional Reference Check. Job Description: Professional phone skills in answering office phone, scheduling and confirming appointments, triaging Patient Phone Calls Collecting in-office payments, Checking patients in/out, Closing out of the day. Scanning, faxing and uploading documents, dealing with incoming and outgoing faxes. Verifying insurances and prior authorizations. Assisting Provider as needed. Additional Responsibilities: Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
