Stan's Shoes in Glendale, WI is looking for an Assistant Store Manager who is passionate about people, sales, and leading from the front.In this role, you'll partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop your team, and deliver our signature sit-and-fit experience-helping every customer leave feeling confident, comfortable, and excited about their purchase.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend your day coaching on the sales floor, celebrating wins, solving challenges, and setting the pace for an exceptional customer experience. You'll lead by example on the sales floor, creating exceptional customer experiences while inspiring your team to meet-and exceed-individual and store goals. Through real-time coaching, you'll help associates build confidence, strengthen their selling skills, expand their product knowledge, and create lasting customer relationships.Behind the scenes, you'll partner with the Store Manager to keep the business running smoothly. You'll support opening and closing procedures, oversee POS and cash handling, maintain accurate inventory practices, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually inviting. You'll help coordinate schedules to ensure strong floor coverage, confidently step into the Manager-on-Duty role when needed, and foster a positive, accountable team culture that reflects the values of Stan's Shoes.What We're Looking For2+ years of retail or customer-facing experiencePrevious leadership experience (keyholder, supervisor, or similar)Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate othersSales-driven mindset with a track record (or strong desire) to meet and exceed goalsOrganized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentReliable, professional, and self- motivatedPreferred:Footwear, apparel, or specialty retail experienceExperience training or developing team membersUnderstanding of sales metrics and performance trackingWhat We OfferPay & ScheduleWeekly base pay of $575 + commission (starting at 7%)Estimated annual earnings: $37,500–$45,000+ (based on performance; excluding bonuses)Bonus opportunities based on individual and store performanceFull-Time: 40–45 hours per weekA varied schedule that includes daytime, evening, and weekend shiftsThis is a full-time management position with a schedule that changes based on business needs.
