Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with a minimum of 1 year experience in the past 2 years. The ideal candidate will be adept in material handling, inventory management using scan guns, and packing screws, bolts, and fasteners. You must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs and efficiently loading and unloading freight.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to retrieve products stored as high as 2-3 floors.
• Load and unload trailers, ensuring pallets are securely wrapped.
• Pick, pack, and select products as needed.
• Move raw and shipping goods around the manufacturing and warehouse floors.
• Operate the forklift safely and responsibly.

• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience within the past 2 years.
• Material handling experience.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and manifests.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of safety practices for operating a forklift.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating a forklift in close quarters.
• Great attendance record from prior employers.

Work Environment

Work in a new and clean warehouse facility. Operate forklifts for 40-60% of your time and perform various tasks the remainder of the time. The work hours are from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
