Hours/Week: 40 hours

Certifications Required: NBSTSA, BLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year pediatric CVOR experience

Pay Rate: $54.12/hour

What You'll Do
- Assist in pediatric cardiovascular operating room procedures, including high-risk cases such as Accreta, Chyst, laparoscopic ectopic, and cystoscopy
- Sterilize, scrub, and handle high-level disinfection (HLD) and aseptic techniques
- Reprocess scopes and probes, and support decontamination efforts
- Maintain sterile fields and assist surgical team with instrumentation and supply management
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
- Support high-acuity labor and delivery cases involving OB surgeries, Cesarean sections, and other OB procedures
What You Need
- Required:
- NBSTSA certification in surgical technology in-hand at time of submission
- Valid BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year pediatric CVOR OR experience
- Preferred:
- Experience in Decontamination, Crash Cart, and Scope/Probe Reprocessing
About the Assignment This pediatric cardiovascular OR unit handles a mix of general OB and high-risk cases, including Cesarean sections, tubal ligation, dilation and curettage, and complex high-risk surgeries like accreta and ectopic procedures. The team is dedicated to quality patient care and surgical excellence, providing a supportive environment for healthcare professionals committed to making a difference.
