Position: Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician Location: Inez, KY Job Id: 401 # of Openings: 1 Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician Hours: 24 hours per week, with possible on-call duties as needed. Job Overview: Homeland Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform upkeep tasks and ensure the functionality of an apartment complex in Inez, KY. This role offers a flexible schedule, paid holidays, and vacation benefits (eligibility and grace periods apply). Responsibilities: Conduct minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, blinds, filling wall gaps, and touch-up painting. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment (e.g., ventilation, piping, electrical systems). Check control panels and ensure the functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarms). Collaborate with coworkers and external professionals during renovations. Report issues to the Facilities Manager. Required Skills & Qualifications: Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their use. Preferably some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Experience using hand and electrical tools with safety protocols. Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and follow instructions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Physical stamina and manual dexterity. Reliable transportation.
