Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional abilities, regain independence, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through individualized therapeutic interventions.

SHIFT DETAILS

• Shift Time: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• Day Shift
• Schedule: Monday through Friday

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

• Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
• Pay Rate: $42.00 - $49.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification/license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, or home health settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and rehabilitation practices
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and positive rehabilitation outcomes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve coordination, strength, balance, and mobility
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and maximizing independence
• Adhere to professional standards, regulatory requirements, and facility policies

• Competitive pay rate of $42.00 - $49.00 per hour
