Commercial Plumbing Company Looking for a Bid & Estimating Assistant

Woodstock based Clarkeson Plumbing is currently growing in house, and is wanting to add a Bid & Estimating Assistant to our team. Exact pay will be commensurate with Bid and/or Estimating experience or knowledge but will be in the $800-$1000 weekly range. There is high potential for professional growth. Please attach a copy of your resume with your response. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities or the aptitude to quickly pick up:

KSA's:
Bid Management

1) Download, Organize, and Maintain File Structure

2) Track Bid Dates, Addendums, and Deadlines

3) Maintain and Update Bid Board

Quantity Takeoff's

1) Count Fixtures, Equipment, Fixtures, Piping, and Specialties

2) Identify Discrepancies or Scope Gaps

3) Maintain Accurate Takeoffs

Vendor Coordination

1) Send Quote Requests to all Vendors or Subs Required

2) Follow Up on Outstanding Requests

3) Compare Quotes and Organize all Received

Estimate Preparation

1) Compile Budget Spreadsheet with Quantities and Pricing

2) Assist with Labor Pricing

3) Prepare Scope Sheets and Clarification

Assist in:

Creating Change Orders for current Projects, as needed

Callbacks to GC's on Estimated Bids that have been turned in

Overlays on prints

Site visits on potential bids
