Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position at a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.

• 20-bed Neuro Trauma ICU unit within a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center facility
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN ICU experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• A valid US Social Security Number and US home address are required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• CPI/MOAB High-Risk training online portion must be completed prior to start; on-site portion will be completed during orientation
• Local candidates are eligible to apply; a radius rule applies and may affect the travel pay rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
