Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Santa Rosa, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 4x12 schedule may be available upon request

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit, including labor support and postpartum care
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3
• Float between like units as needed within the facility or nearby sister facilities
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; labor and postpartum experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; post-submission RTO may not be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• Experience charting in Epic
• Prior travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
