Senior Database & Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $70,000 - 116,000 per year Requirements:

• We require the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust, with approved adjudication completed before onboarding; candidates with an active Public Trust or suitability are preferred.
• Contractual U.S. citizenship is required.
• We require a bachelors degree from an accredited university.
• We require at least 5 years of overall professional experience.
• We require experience in database administration and infrastructure engineering.
• We require hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar database platforms.
• We require experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
• We require knowledge of backup, recovery, and high-availability architectures.
• Preferred qualifications include AWS Database Specialty or an equivalent certification.
• Preferred qualifications include experience supporting mainframe-connected applications.
• Preferred qualifications include ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience.
• Preferred qualifications include Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Preferred qualifications include experience supporting federal government systems.

• We administer and fine-tune enterprise databases that support both cloud-based and on-premises workloads.
• We oversee database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery operations.
• We support hybrid infrastructure designs that combine cloud and legacy systems.
• We perform performance tuning, capacity forecasting, and resiliency testing.
• We build automation to streamline database operations and infrastructure management.
