Respiratory Care Practitioner – Respiratory Therapy – Full Time 12 Hour Day Shift (Union) Under direct supervision of the Clinical Manager and, in accordance with physician direction, provides high-quality patient care through assessment of patients’ cardio-pulmonary status, setup and operation of various types of respiratory care equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness, and interdisciplinary team collaboration. Assess patients’ cardio-pulmonary status. Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members. Location: Glendale, Los Angeles, CA. Contract: Full-Time. Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift (Union). Hourly rate range for this position is $43.60 - $58.67. Education Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy; bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy preferred. Experience 1-2 years of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in an Acute Care Hospital setting preferred. Required License / Certification Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner License. RRT and CRT Licensure required for employees hired 11/01/19 or later. NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association. Annual AB 508 Certification required; if no card upon hire, must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer into the department and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
