Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Surgery Board Runner

Type of equipment: Electrosurgical, Neptune suction, Patient positioning devices, etc

Documentation system: Meditech

Scheduling requirements: 7a-3p or 7a-5p

Floating policy: N/A

Patient Experience requirements: Hospital Specifics-

Certifications: CST National certificate required; BLS

Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Previous experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures. Neurosurgical and Gen/Robotic experience preferred, but not required. Must have: Critical thinking and customer service skills.

Advanced skills needed:

Total joints
Spine fusions
Neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies
Robotic procedures
General surgical procedures
Urology
Cardiovascular procedures including open heart

Dress Code: (Required uniform) Scrubs (provided)

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.

Awards/Recognition: Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope for neurosurgical procedures (only system in Tennessee).
