CNC Machinist/Set-up Person "B" Shift

Position Description The CNC Machinist/Set-Up Person is responsible for set-up and operation of HAAS and Fanuc CNC mills. Qualifications Education / Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Prior experience as a CNC Machinist/CNC Machine Set-up person. Ability to work in a team environment. Experience with HAAS Machines/Fanuc Robodrill, a plus. Optical experience, a plus. Essential Functions Set-up and operate HAAS and Fanuc CNC mills/Techno Router. Review and interpret blueprints (GDT preferred). Run a manual mill and lathe for fixturing/engineering support. Handling, waxing, fixturing, machining and cleaning glass materials. Monitor machines/parts adjusting offsets as determined by programmers. Perform measurements and conduct quality checks on in-process/completed parts. Use Calipers, Micrometers, Vision System, etc. to verify work. Perform routine machine/coolant maintenance. Maintain cleanliness of area/tools. Participate in 5S and lean manufacturing practices. Perform other duties as needed and assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
