Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
⏰ Overtime Available During Peak Production Periods
Are you an experienced CMM Programmer looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing precision manufacturing company? We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer with RECENT hands-on experience operating and programming ZEISS CMM equipment using CALYPSO software.
This is a Direct Hire position offering stability, growth opportunities, and the chance to work with advanced manufacturing technology.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
⚠️ RECENT ZEISS CMM EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Candidates must have recent hands-on experience:
- Programming ZEISS CMM machines
- Utilizing CALYPSO software
- Performing dimensional inspections
- Interpreting GD&T and engineering drawings
- Generating inspection reports and measurement data
Applicants without recent ZEISS/Calypso experience will not be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
✔ Program and operate ZEISS CMM equipment using CALYPSO software
✔ Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
✔ Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models
✔ Analyze measurement data and generate inspection reports
✔ Document non-conformance reports (NCRs)
✔ Maintain calibration standards and support quality initiatives
✔ Collaborate with machinists, engineers, programmers, and production teams to ensure product quality
✔ Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
QUALIFICATIONS
✅ 3+ years of CMM programming and operation experience
✅ Recent ZEISS CMM and CALYPSO programming experience REQUIRED
✅ Strong understanding of GD&T
✅ Ability to read and interpret complex engineering prints
✅ Experience using precision measuring instruments
✅ Experience in aerospace, semiconductor, automation, medical device, or precision manufacturing environments preferred
✅ AS9100 experience preferred
✅ Associate Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience preferred
