This travel MRI Tech job in Chicago, IL with Advantis Medical is a 13-week travel MRI Tech contract at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital - Chicago. This role pays $2,396 per week and follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule. In this travel MRI Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Ascension Saint Joseph - Chicago serves the city's north side with robotic surgery, on-site imaging, and accredited bariatric and breast programs.

Robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery, plus orthopedic and general surgical services

On-site imaging: CT, MRI, PET, nuclear medicine (with nuclear cardiology), DEXA, and mammography

MBSAQIP-accredited Comprehensive bariatric surgery center and an NAPBC-accredited breast center

Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center, with heart-and-vascular care

Maternity with a Level III NICU; dedicated inpatient rehabilitation

Responsibilities include screening patients, visitors, and equipment for MRI safety, positioning patients and selecting the appropriate coils and imaging sequences for each study, administering gadolinium contrast when ordered, following facility protocol, obtaining diagnostic-quality images, adjusting parameters to manage motion and artifacts, and providing completed studies to radiologists.

Travel MRI Tech Requirements include 2+ years of recent MRI Tech experience and holding all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Illinois and national regulatory bodies.
