Job Title: Electrical/Mechanical Inspector

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical/Mechanical Inspector to perform electrical, mechanical, and dimensional inspections on assemblies and sub‑assemblies in accordance with documented procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical tests and inspections using published procedures and dedicated test rigs
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
• Complete first‑article and in‑process inspections
• Document inspection and test results per company procedures
• Identify nonconforming materials and generate nonconformance reports
• Communicate inspection issues with production supervisors and team members
• Support continuous improvement of test and troubleshooting methods
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical inspection preferred
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and standard test equipment (DVM, Hi‑Pot, bonding resistance)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Team‑oriented with a willingness to learn

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations

This is a Contract position based out of Plainview, NY.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Plainview,NY.
