Custodial Associate
Our client, a leading company in the food distribution industry, is seeking Custodial Associates for their Jacksonville, FL facility. This is a full-time, onsite contract position responsible for maintaining the organization's facilities and grounds in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
- Clean and maintain restrooms
- Operate an electric pallet jack (single jack) as needed
- Maintain upkeep and organization of parking areas and grounds
- Assist with battery watering as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of relevant custodial or facilities maintenance experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must wear steel-toe boots starting day 1
- Ability to work in cold temperatures (jeans and sweater attire required at times)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating an electric pallet jack (please note on resume where equipment was used)
- Experience in warehouse, grounds, or facility maintenance settings
About the Role:
Location: 3100 Hilton St, Jacksonville, FL 32209
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Contract Duration: Approximately 29 weeks (1,168 total hours)
Travel: None required
