VFLA is seeking a talented and motivated Entry-Level Architect / Architectural Designer with 2–5 years of professional experience to join our collaborative design team.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting project teams in design, documentation, and construction administration
• Producing high-quality presentation graphics, renderings, diagrams, and design packages
• Assisting with client presentations, proposal graphics, and marketing materials
• Developing architectural drawings and visual studies
• Collaborating with architects, designers, consultants, and clients
• Contributing to a positive, creative, and highly collaborative studio culture

Ideal candidates will bring:

• 2–5 years of professional experience in an architecture or design firm
• Strong design sensibility and a passion for thoughtful, human-centered architecture
• Heavy graphic design skills with advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
• Heavy Revit modelling skills
• Ability to create compelling presentation graphics, diagrams, and client-facing design materials
• Experience developing design concepts, architectural drawings, and visual storytelling materials
• Proficiency in architectural documentation and coordination through all phases of design
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment
• Self-motivated attitude with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful projects
• Interest in community-focused, creative, and context-driven design
• Architectural licensure track or desire to pursue licensure preferred
