JOB TITLE: Shuttle Driver

DEPARTMENT : Docks

REPORTS TO: Guest Service Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Shuttle Driver may be the first person our guests interact with when arriving to the marina. It is important that they deliver a superior marina experience to all our guests. The Shuttle Driver will assist in taking the customers from the parking lot to the marina and then back to the parking lot. They do so while being friendly, positive, and accommodating. They will also keep the area clean, safe, and well maintained.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist passengers in loading and unloading their coolers and bags
2. Maintain decent conversation with customers and assist them with all questions
3. Ensure the shuttle is kept clean and tidy prior to each run
4. Other duties assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and corporate goals
2. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
3. Effective communicator who can collaborate with teammates and guests
4. Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifteen (15) pounds
2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
3. Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat) for extended periods of time
