P&D Driver

Job Summary As a P&D Driver, you pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally. You will be the face of the company, serving customers on a regular basis. You will operate a tractor‑trailer under various conditions, coupling and uncoupling, connecting lines, and adjusting equipment. Responsibilities Pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally. Serve as the face of the company, interacting with customers frequently. Operate a tractor‑trailer in diverse conditions, including coupling, uncoupling, connecting lines, and adjusting equipment. Conduct vehicle inspections, manage loading and unloading of cargo, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of transport documents, especially when handling hazardous materials. Skilled maneuvering in heavy traffic and tight spaces. Report any incidents or delays and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Focus on excellent customer service and professionalism at all times. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months driving experience (1 year preferred). High School Diploma or GED. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers; no automatic restrictions. At least 21 years old. Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English; perform simple mathematical calculations; handle receipts; read maps and road signs; maintain driving logs. Detailed knowledge of and compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines, including safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspections, and the transportation of hazardous materials. Meet DOT physical qualifications and pass alcohol and drug tests. Benefits Pay: $94,731 – $103,332 annually (average annual pay may vary based on experience, hours, and location). Job type: full‑time; work shift: second shift.
