Contract: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

Are you an experienced OB/Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse ready for your next travel assignment? Join a dedicated women’s health team in Hanford, California , and make a meaningful impact providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

This 13-week travel assignment offers night-shift scheduling with 36–48 hours per week and is ideal for an experienced RN who is confident caring for obstetric patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to OB/Labor & Delivery patients

• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery

• Perform assessments and promptly recognize changes in patient condition

• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders

• Assist with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care as applicable

• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team

• Provide patient and family education and emotional support

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic

• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and patient-safety standards

• Respond effectively to changes in maternal or fetal condition

✅ Requirements

• Active California RN License

• OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience

• Epic experience REQUIRED

• BLS certification REQUIRED

• ACLS certification REQUIRED

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced OB environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
