IT Lab Systems Support Specialist

Salary $110,000 - $115,000 Experience Five (5) years of experience with demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Requirements US Citizenship Active DoD Top Secret Clearance IAT Level II (Information Assurance Technical) or higher DOD 8140 under specialty area 45(Security+) within 60 days of start. H.S. Diploma or GED Desirable Experience with Linux Responsibilities Provide customer support in installation of IT Hardware/Software to support lab simulation launching kinetic weapons from various platforms. Configure IT Hardware and Software in lab to support customer needs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as upgrading hardware/software and installing required patches to ensure optimal performance of lab equipment. Conduct operational tests on lab equipment to ensure system availability and reliability. Conduct required troubleshooting procedures of IT hardware and software to maintain availability of lab equipment. Manage account access to lab equipment. Maintain detailed records of hardware configurations, troubleshooting steps, and other relevant information. Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
