About This Role Mount Sinai Morningside is hiring multiple Assistant Nurse Manager positions across various specialties. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to lead and enhance patient care in a collaborative environment. Highlights Location: Unknown Schedule: Full Time, Evening shift What You’ll Do Lead nursing practice using the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care. Demonstrate proficiency in Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR) and role model expected behaviors. Ensure integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance patient care. Validate staff members’ rounding on all patients through direct observation. Assess staff competency in PHR and provide meaningful feedback. Conduct daily rounding of all patients (Monday-Friday). Communicate patient experience and staff engagement information to the care team. Collaborate with the physician dyad and elevate concerns as appropriate. Requirements Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred. Experience Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in the related specialty area required. Licenses & Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU and Cardiac units.
